What's in a name...

These are my shoes. They used to be plain black and I did like them and they were comfy as anything, despite being £7 from New Look but they were boring and I never wore them. Then I got invited to an 'over the top' party and had no suitable footwear.

Some outdoor Mod Podge and some Ebayed glitter (which claimed to be black but is quite patently green and black and incidentally way more beautiful than any glitter has a right to be in real life) later and I had the perfect Disco Goth shoes. They don't photograph well especially since I decided my phone camera would be good enough but the colour is beautiful I promise!

My dilemma now is what do I wear them with? I'd love to wear them more but they haven't been on my feet since the party.

  1. They are lush! Great job. Can I ask where you sourced your Mod Podge? I've got a project which requires the outdoor stuff (shoes too, but not glittery, I swear!)

As for wearing them, I'd be tempted to team them with a hobble skirt and a top in black and bottle green and some black tights. :)

  3. Thank you!
I can't for the life of me remember where I got it from but it was definitely in this country, I just googled it until I found somewhere it was in stock.
I like that outfit suggestion, not sure how good I'd look in a hobble skirt but it is on my list of things to try.
