PLEASE don't look at my face in this pic! Today was another attempt at making the coloured tights work. I'm wearing a magenta polo neck bought in the sale at New Look, I seem to be addicted to polo necks at the moment, they go with everything and also dress down a party dress or top. Over that I'm wearing a black and white spotty dress from a charity shop, originally Dorothy Perkins I think. The waterfall waistcoat thingy is a new purchase from Primark, I think it will go with lots of things in my wardrobe and is very useful for disguising the tummy of doom. The tights are from Tesco, 140 denier and a total bargain at £4. On my feet I'm wearing my trusty leather biker boots, this is their second winter and I think they will last many more. At £23 I think they were a good investment.

    Aha - the tummy of doom. A concept I'm highly familiar with! I really love the magenta, it's one of my favourite colours!

    I'm having a tummy of doom day as well, hence the selectively cropped pics on today's blog. I can't see any signs of one on you though.

    Biker boots work so well with the dress. Where did they come from?
