Just dipping my toe in

Remember me?!
It's been a looooong while but I'm not going to apologise, I've always been more of a reader than a writer and blogging started to feel like an enormous pressure so I had to step away for a while. Just lately however, I've been feeling the need to share.

Just a few of the things I've been up to recently -

I've made a few BendyBow headbands, some of which will probably find their way into my Etsy shop

I have formulatd a new and much more flattering design for my sweater coats

I crocheted a bag out of video tape (the X Files in case you were wondering)

I saw the Flaming Lips perform at Jodrell Bank which has the biggest, most fantastic telescope ever. I now think everyone should see the Flaming Lips at least once in their life.

I crocheted a rainbow granny shrug (yes, I really do wear things like this!) which is an idea I shamelessly copied from Therealiolithie on Etsy - check her out, she is the QUEEN of crochet

I had a craft stall at a little local festival

I went to a vintage fair in Chester and snapped up this splendid maxi dress for just £3 from the bargain bin

I also went to the Vintage Village at Stockport on Sunday but didn't get any pics, I was too busy being overwhelmed, it really is as good as you've heard!

Bye for now! x

  3. Lovely to see you back! I saw the Flaming Lips at The Green man last year adn they were fab, reduced grown men (and women) to tears.
Glad you're still being wonderfully creative. x

  4. Lovely to hear from you. Adore your new coats that shape is gorgeous. Your crochet bag has intrigued me too, I could fancy 'borrowing' that idea. Your stall looked fab too.

  6. Oh it's so lovely to see you back posting! And haven't you been busy? So many fab makes. My brain is slightly boggling at the prospect of knitting with videos. Is it a bit like those things knitted from carrier bag strips that I've seen people make?
